More on the Flow

IMG_5025

I have been away on vacation for two months. While away, I experienced an ease and flow of me, unencumbered by real or imagined responsibilities calling me to notice them and look after them. Although, I have been home for a couple of weeks, the feelings and impressions remain:

Sun, sand, ocean. Hot air. Cool breeze.
Smiling people, talking with ease.
Swimming, smoothly gliding in the softly caressing me water.
A feeling of expansion, of utter bliss.
No responsibilities.
No time constraints.
No restrictions. No limitations.

Freedom of expression, of action.
Deletion of all that is not honestly felt, that does not fit, that is not it.
Smooth, caressing water.
My stretched-out body gliding quietly.
Moving rhythmically, endlessly, without a thought.
Moving forward. Smoothly. Gliding.
Bliss.

Walking the beach.
Pushing my toes into the sand, deep.
Feeling the sand’s tiny crystals.
Seeing the specks of silica sparkling in the sun.
Listening to the music of the ocean.
Waves coming in, going out, coming in, going out.
Watching the whitecaps curving in, breaking up on the sand.
Down at the beach. Filling up with peace.

I feel refreshed and rejuvenated, sliding back into the rhythm of my regular days. Will I continue that exhilarating, yet restful feeling of freedom and lightness, of flowing with ease?

I feel guided to make it my priority to live like that. I believe that acting on one’s inner guidance creates one’s outer circumstances. And, whether we are aware of it or not, we always are guided from within.

When we honour the nudges of our inner guidance and trust and follow our intuition, we align with who we truly are. We are not giving consent to others or to the perceived responsibilities to run our lives. By being in harmony with our truth, we can experience the peaceful interaction between us and the outside world.
